Create New Post

I was advised about a week ago by my Official Blog Advisor that I need to update my blog.

Things have been so crazy in the past two weeks, that I didn't feel that I could give my blog the attention that it deserves.

So, for those of you who have been anxiously waiting for an update... you now have 3 other new posts to read! Enjoy.. and comment if you feel so moved upon.

The Walk

I'm not really sure I want to comment on the March of Dimes walk that took place Saturday. I've had so many people ask me how it went... and I can honestly say that I would rather not mention it because I feel a bit dissapointed.

It's Hard to Make Things Easier

Well... if you didn't know before, you now know that I am a packrat! Yes... that's right... I'm not in denial. It's a tradition thats been passed on to me from my mom, and to her from her mom and dad both!

The news is that I am now putting forth a lot of effort (which is extremely difficult) to declutter and repent of being a packrat. It's been tough, but so worth it. I've had a great friend who has been helping me with the decluttering process. It's so rewarding to feel that various things in my home are in a proper place and order. I am astonished at how much more the spirit is abiding in my home.

Part of the reason I've been doing trying to put things in order, is so that we can have more room for food storage... but also, having so much stuff has been a constant source of contention between Steve and I. I've been trying to put forth a lot of effort to get things taken care of before Steve got home today, but there have been too many 'other' things going on to get all of it done. I did get much accomplished though and I feel comfortable with that. Steve did say that the house feels good... that was a bonus (and I think what I was something I was really hoping to hear).

Fresno Success

So... the trip to Fresno was awesome! This was my first experience with running a Heritage Makers booth. Now that I've seen how it's done, I feel more confident in being able to run one on my own. The trip was a great confidence booster for me and I'm looking forward to putting in a lot of hard work getting my business up and running.

Preparing For Fresno

So, all week I've been getting things ready so that things will go well at the TimeOut in Fresno this weekend. I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off because my time to do what needs to be done is so limited. But, things are working out well and I think just about everything is ready! I'm leaving tonight! Wish me LUCK!!!

Want to leave a new Post

But I don't know what I want to write about. I'm feeling a little high strung because I'm so busy this week and have a ton of stuff to accomplish but toooooo little time.

Some great news is that it looks like Steve is finally going to get into that Firearms Instructor Course he's been promised for over a year. If all goes well, he will leave tomorrow to head back to the east coast for the class. He will be home around the 30th.... thank goodness!

The Misadventures of OJ

This morning when I went to get milk for my cereal, I grabbed the oj... cereal is ver strange when it has a slight orange taste.

Curves

I have a few friends that workout at curves. So, I've been thinking about signing up there so I have buddies to workout with. Well... I signed up yesterday and had inteded to have a friend go with me the first time. Well... because of extenuation circumstances, my friend could not go. I don't like doing things the first time by myself, so I almost didn't go this morning. But I did, and it was fabulous!
