Memories

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I remember I was new to the area and was walking into church and you were sitting next to Rudy and from across the chapel you waved me over to sit next to you and I remember thinking, "I have a friend!"

That's sooooo cute!!! That must have been after we were introduced in Relief Society.

I remember when you moved into the 4th ward. Keith's parents were visiting that weekend. While I was in Primary, Vickie heard you introduce yourself in Relief Society and she commented to me that "a really neat new girl just moved into the ward. She and her husband were both in the Army." She said what a good feeling she got about listening to you. I was impressed by this comment and I felt a real desire to get to know you better--and then soon after to call you to be a Primary teacher and then one of my counselors. I have too many memories to select one, but I feel your friendship in my life has been a God-given gift. You're one of the best people I know.

Wow... that's waaaaay cool! Laura.. you have been soooo full of compliments toward me lately. I just want you to know that I've really needed it and you've made me feel so great about myself in the past few weeks.

I also feel tremendously blessed to have you as my friend. We don't often do things together simply as buddies (which I would like to change), but it's been a friendship of service... and that is probably the best kind of friendship.

Thank you for sharing your memory of Vicki's comment... I never would have known.
